Cornwall’s Coastal Marvel

Day 4

June 30th, 2016

We journeyed south to the western tip of the peninsula, arriving at a truly unique destination – St. Michael’s Mount. While not as renowned as its counterpart, we cherished its serene eccentricity. The island boasts an English-style castle, and we crossed over by boat. Following a scenic path through the garden, we explored the castle. The kids had a blast with an exhilarating scavenger hunt inside, earning medals for their efforts. As the tide receded, a pathway to the mainland revealed itself. We strolled along the pebble road emerging from the water, making our way back to town. It was a truly enchanting day.
